The pupils of C1 grade of our school created a story titled "Christmas wishes".
The idea is based on the material of Magic Book and more specifically on two stories pupils seem to like the most: that of Bella the cat and the one of Pinnochio. Pupils adapted certain parts of these two stories and came up with the material you can see here or by clicking on the book cover above. For the illustration of the story we used "Storybird", a nice digital story-telling tool. Hope you enjoy your read!
Internet safety matters are of great importance and all members of a school community should always take them into consideration. Pupils of our school experimented with rhymes and included some basic safety rules in the poster on the left. Surf in safety! Our poster will be forwarded to our partner schools.

The desks form working places for groups of four. On each desk there are notes with the pupils ' names. The T waits for the pupils to sit at their desks. T explains that they are going to work on a project which will be presented to their partners and starts giving some hints about the countries they will work on. After the topic is revealed, T asks the groups to nominate their leader and read the cartoon "Let's start with some fun!" which can be found in Activities material. Each group leader is asked to go to the back of the classroom and choose a box for their group. T explains that they have a time limit of 20 minutes, they must work as quietly as possible, they can ask for help by raising a hand and inform the T when they finish their task.
Each box contains
a reading text (from a brochure, travel book, newspaper)
some paper strips with sentences split in half which must be matched
photos, cards to be put under certain headings
instructions to make something like a flag, a painting, a collage
a CD of listening input
a note which states what must be done
Photos of each box material will be uploaded Photo album.
When each group finishes working they must put up their product on the white poster and present it to the rest of the class.
